This presentation will not only cover the most important things you need to know about dating, but much, much more about relationships and falling in love. Even if you aren't interested in dating, it's good to be prepared, for love may come your way...even when you aren't looking. This upbeat presentation is sure to provide food for thought, make you feel better about yourself, and certainly better prepare you for facing the challenging world of dating.
2pm KEYNOTE SPEAKER - Ret. Colonel Gail Halvorsen
Even during times of adversity, war and strife, Bro. Halvorsen found a way to bring joy to others. "It all started with 2 pieces of gum and the candy bombing began.“ During the Berlin airlift, Pilot Halvorsen became famous for dropping candy and sweets to the children of the besieged city. Using white handkerchiefs, he fashioned miniature parachutes, which he dropped from his plane. Due to the fact that he received thousands of pounds of candy and other donations from home, his personal mission soon brought him international fame and became part of U.S. policy which continues in Iraq today. Come hear the incredible story of a living legend. Two fascinating hours will be devoted to hearing a story that is not only historical, but heartwarming as well. Time will be reserved for Q&A.
